從小，就很喜歡這首歌了，
無論是單憑旋律，還是整首歌曲，
總是可以讓我不知不覺陷入進去，
有看迪士尼卡通的，對這首歌一定不會太陌生，
沒錯，這首＂Colors of the wind＂就是＂Pocahontas＂的主題曲，
我記得，我國小的時候，
有同學很會彈琴，恰巧也會這首歌，
我總要求著，希望他可以彈奏這首歌，
有此可見，我對這首歌癡迷的程度。
以前，這首＂Colors of the wind＂就有不少的歌手唱，
從最一開始的Vanessa Williams到CoCo Lee李玟，
到最近我聽到好久不見的Faye Lin林凡翻唱，
不同的人，不同的味道，
同一首歌，卻唱出不一樣的故事，
這算不算一種音樂的魔法，
用這樣撼動人心的魔法，
編寫出精采的故事。
這首Colors of the wind，
對我而言，或許是我最早接觸的外文歌曲，
畢竟小時候，很少會有動力去尋找外文歌曲收聽，
能收聽到的機會，便是在觀看卡通的時候，
而這首歌，或許當時我無法得知他在唱些什麼，
但在不斷不斷的聆聽之下，大概了解到敘訴的內容，
這首Colors of the wind，應該可以說是我對英文歌曲的啟蒙吧。
